Hisense TV Unit Share Ranks No.1 in South Africa

 

No.1-In-SAAccording to GFK data, in March 2016, Hisense, with unit share reaching 24%, ranked No.1 in South Africa’s TV market. This is the first time that Hisense brand achieves No.1 (in unit share) in the overseas markets.

Hisense does well in global high-end TV market. According to HIS data, Hisense 4K TV also shows great growth momentum and ranks world No.3 with an 8.1% unit share. Hisense ranks No.3 with a 9.3% unit share among 55-inch to 59-inch TVs; Hisense occupies the second place in the 50-inch to 54-inch category with the unit share reaching 10.0%. Hisense TV unit share is 5.6%, ranks world No.3.

Domestically, Hisense continues to maintain the leading position. According to China Market Monitor data from January to March 2016, Hisense TV ranks No.1 with 17.62% market share. This marks Hisense’s 13-year’s consecutive winning in Chinese TV market since 2004.

In 2016, Hisense will keep strong in its global brand marketing. On January 14th, Hisense has filled the last position to become a Global Partner of the UEFA European Championship 2016. This is the first-ever sponsorship deal with a Chinese company in the championship’s 56 year history.

In recent years, Hisense has been the team supplier to Infiniti Red Bull Racing, title sponsor of Hisense 250/ Hisense 300/ Hisense 200 NASCAR Xfinity Series and primary sponsor of Joe Gibbs Racing, official sponsor of the Australian Open with naming rights to Hisense Arena, and the official premium partner of FC Schalke 04.
